glad i was 'sick' today. heard tt the celebrations was a bore except for those who took part in the games. hmm. went for day 1 of 2-star course today. not too sunny - in fact there was hardly any sun by the time we actually got into the water. today quite slack. just paddled ard and learnt edging, which is basically using ur hips to tilt the kayak to turn. also tried the eskimo roll, which is s'posed to be for 3-star. quite fun. went to national stadium changing rm to bathe. saw several disabled ppl on wheelchairs going round the track. after tt went to busstop. changed bus at suntec and waited ages for 196 to arrive. then stopped before queensway shopping centre and waited for ages again for 153. taking the mrt back is way faster. sigh. wed will be gone. |
