got a wetsuit! realli wanna go for lit trip next yr. but it's like $3000+ for quite a short period of time, i think. i oso wanna go to manado/maldives to dive & accumulate dives, and tt'd cost loads too. Lit trip/dive trip? if i wanna become a divemaster the moment i turn 18, i haf abt 9 mths to accumulate 11 more dives. one maldives trip will mean abt 16-18 dives, which covers it. but manado looks real gr8 (n cheaper too) - the dolphins n whales literally swim with u - at least they did in the video tt my dive instructor took. went looking for an underwater camera case for our canon ixus cam but they're apparently not making underwater casings for canon cams anymore. smth abt plastic not being able to withstand the pressure. so my mom bought an all-weather case instead, which can only go up to 3m (underwater case: 40m). told her not to buy it, cos who needs to take photos in a pool? and they seldom go snorkeling so they'll hardly ever need to use it. and yy2 and i wont be using it either cos we'll be diving way more than a measly 3m. $180. oh well. used the case today at the pool and took lots of silly photos just for the sake of using the case. ytd when i went swimming the weather truly showed how much it hates me. i got into the pool. swam a bit. started drizzling. then pouring. so i got out. and the rain stopped. i waited awhile and the rain dint resume. so i got back into the pool. and then it started pouring again! i was like, wth, dun care, jus continue swimming. it was like having an acupuncture treatment or smth - the rain like darts/needles on my back. on the surface it was super loud; the moment my head went under it was dead quiet. |
