instead of going for chem today, went to national lib instead. initially wanted to go swimming, but then i'm going l8r so decided to go return my bks instead. cld have gone to the lib near my house but since my grandmother hasn't been to the nat lib, decided to take her there. and let her try the fun elevators! took the lift with the view and rode it all the way to the 14th floor. wandered ard at the top floor but there was nth to do there, authorized personnel only. took the lift back down (waited for 3 lifts before we got the one with the view). there's a huge waste of space actually. the entire 2nd floor is devoted to... toilets. wth!!?? and there's a huge empty space right outside the lib which is basically unused except for the 24hr bkdrop which does not take up much space at all. wanted to find Something Rotten but it was on loan. there was The Big Over Easy but it doesn't feature Thursday Next. borrowed 3 bks then went to bugis to eat. then went to fetch sis frm SC and now i'm here. hope the weather holds. |
