surprisingly warm weather today, compared to the past wk. so a couple of us (those still in Hobart) decided to take a drive up to Mt Wellington. most of the snow was alr melting on acct of the warm day, but there was still loads on the summit. stopped a distance frm the summit to take photos and the parking lot was iced over. v difficult to walk! saw a car skid all the way out of the lot on the summit, there was q a bit of snow. built my first snowman, used my glove for its hat and twigs for its face. also had snow fights and tried to make snow angels but the snow was too hard. view frm the top:     first snowman:  same snowman wif diff headgear:  the snowman we brought back down the mountain, with which we had a snow fight back at Jane:  |
