while i was stuck with my no-life with my stupid notes and who still got (n is still getting) crummy results. cld've spent the time at manado too, and my results'll be no different.

taking a break from the
(non-existent)
studying.
organic chem is such a sucky topic. infinite no. of rxns to rmb and so much refluxing & conc acid & aq/dry/g/l stuff to mess up my alr-fried brain. if asked for conditions i'll most likely end up writing nothing but 'conc H2SO4, reflux' cos tt's the onli thing i rmb.
then there's the enormous ionic eqb topic which i have NO CLUE about.
and the extremely annoying and intolerable chem bonding notes with the singlish and countless exclamation marks and bad spelling & grammar which i just can't stand. i've got loads of pencil marks all over the notes in an attempt to hide the redundant comments, of which there are too many to count/cross out.
PC: i can't do drama pc for nuts. same goes for comparison. which leaves me with... no other option but to crap my way thru n look foolish/ hand in a blank sheet of paper n use the time to sleep/ get an mc. latter option is, however, out of the qn. and whywhywhy issit on the v last day when the econs ppl end on thurs!?

bio & math: *dead
lit: "Aiaa!"
btw, who actually wrote 'aiaa' and 'breathe dead hippo' on their papers? cos it's not effective if only 2 or 3 ppl write it... n i dint see much when i collected papers
lol

back to
(staring blankly at mt everest-stack of notes)
studying.

to hell with CTs. i simply do not care anymore.
too late anyway.

just got back from tioman!
diving, of course.
saw this ENORMOUS leatherback turtle which was at least as long as my entire arm span. from head to tail, longer than a full-grown man. !!!! managed to get REAL CLOSE and it was fantastic. most amazing sight ever. beats seeing any shark. it was just resting on coral, looking old and wise and really peaceful. had to long fish clinging onto its back, and also had a really big barnacle on its back as well.
on the same dive, i saw more than 6 other turtles. way smaller, but still amazing. one of them was chomping away on coral like nobody's business. we watched it feeding for quite some time, less than a metre away.
also saw a moray eel that was at least 2m long! v fat and hidden under some coral.
when i wasn't diving i went snorkeling in the waters just outside the chalet i was staying in. saw an entire school of sword-like fish swimming right in front off me.
singaporeans are simply unbelievably stupid. the beach i was staying on (ABC beach) had a grand total of 3 singaporeans, namely me, my mom and lyn.all the other tourists were backpackers from sweden, germany, czech republic, ukraine, france, denmark, melbourne, new zealand (the ones we met), living on budgets. on ABC, one can get a chalet for RM 35 a day, and one meal for 3 can cost no more than RM10 (and the food actually tastes gd). the other s'poreans were all in Berjaya resort, living in rooms costing above RM200 a night, eating RM50 per person meals and tanning on a man-made beach, playing golf when others are diving and spotting turtles and sharks, and hardly ever straying from the confines of the resort tt is impossibly singaporean. u step into the resort and u'll not fail to notice the s'porean-ness of the whole place. practically everyone in sight was s'porean, loud and picky and complaining abt practically everything. urrgh.
ate lots of coconuts, bbq seafood and spent almost every waking moment in swimwear and slippers.

i wldn't mind taking the dm course in tioman (as compared to in s'pore). spend several mths there, taking in the sun and diving every single day. as one of the divers said, m'sia has gotta be the cheapest and most enjoyable place to dive. tropical waters with colourful, tropical fish...

went for the windsurfing course on wed and friday. very fun! there was practically no wind but surprisingly able to windsurf still. managed to do the 180 degree turn, and on fri, tacking.
fri, the tide was much higher and current stronger = funner! feet cldn't touch bottom (unlike on wed, where my feet cld touch the bottom even way out). kept drifting out to sea, and i even managed to sail all the way out beyond the breakers and it was so much more exciting cos the wind and current was stronger out there, so i got to sail faster. put my rescue diver skills to gd use when jess drifted out and cldn't swim back - had to tow my board, hers and herself back to shore. pretended i was towing a tired diver back. haha.
after windsurfing on fri, took the bus to suntec and met sis and mom at the career fair. also saw yii wen there. wandered ard, lugging my sch bag and shoe bag (wet clothes n shoes) everywhere, shuffling along in slippers, while everyone else was either in office clothes/sch uniform. lol
now i wanna learn surfing, onli u can't do tt in s'pore. waves? what waves!?
so gonna die for CTs. where to find the time to study? guess i'll have to be content with nth more than an O.
lit tchrs keep going on and on abt how gr8 the lit trip wld be and how it'd be a once-in-a-lifetime experience etc and conveniently not mentioning the fact tt it's 5K. $ $ $
if i cld i wld
