less than a week till exams! 10 days till i head for warm weather & most importantly, warm waters!!! no more double layer 7mm suits & having to have someone else literally yank me out of a wetsuit!
after watching the Blue Planet bbc tv series, i am INSPIRED. i so wanna work on research teams like that! none of that boring stuck-in-a-lab kinda research, but actual out-in-the-field, dive-all-day stuff! to be searching for whales for mths, diving with literally HUNDREDS of sharks, seeing deep-sea creatures in submersibles, swimming with man-eating fish in the Amazon... tt's the LIFE. now all i need to do is learn how to take pro underwater pix/videos, and of course get more dive experience... ...which is why i just sent multiple emails to dive shops all over cairns to ask for a no-pay job. just so that i get to dive for free, help instructors teach, & learn how to sell equipment/trips. i hope at least one dive shop will see the value of hiring a divemaster for FREE to run around and perform errands, carry customer's gear etc |
