surprisingly warm weather today, compared to the past wk. so a couple of us (those still in Hobart) decided to take a drive up to Mt Wellington. most of the snow was alr melting on acct of the warm day, but there was still loads on the summit. stopped a distance frm the summit to take photos and the parking lot was iced over. v difficult to walk! saw a car skid all the way out of the lot on the summit, there was q a bit of snow. built my first snowman, used my glove for its hat and twigs for its face. also had snow fights and tried to make snow angels but the snow was too hard. view frm the top:     first snowman:  same snowman wif diff headgear:  the snowman we brought back down the mountain, with which we had a snow fight back at Jane:

cantwaitcantwait 25 hrs till end of exams. maybe less, if i leave early, like i did wif previous 2 papers. 3hrs for mcqs and several short ans qns ytd's weather was weird. kept raining in short bursts. according to some frens, it was below zero in the city. saw 6 rainbows frm my rm window. 2 double ones! if i'd had a spade I'd haf gone to dig for gold, seeing as i managed to locate the end of one of the rainbows (it was tt close) no snow down here yet
frost is on the ground. Frost, on the other hand, is fortunately underground. was suddenly reminded of lit days, HoD in particular. the horror!
zoology in 1.5 hrs after this it's 2 down, 1 to go! shld start making holiday plans. i'm just looking fwd to some quiet around here, with most ppl returning home. and, of course, hopefully some diving as well. tho the cold will be out of this world...
